This ad for commercial seating appeared in The Architectural Review, Jan. 1962. inline iconography technique was popular among mid-20th-century furniture makers. I'm not sure if I knew this when I did the same thing for this quick sample of my Eerostyle Fontstruction … must have been in the back of my mind.
