1. Main reason

If you access FontKe.com through Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge browser, the following similar error message appears:

Unable to connect to this page safely

This may be because the site uses outdated or unsecured TLS security settings. If this continues to occur, please contact the owner of the site.

The TLS security settings are not set to the default settings, which may also cause this error.

Mainly because FontKe.com enables the higher security level of TLS 1.2 and above protocols, and Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge only enable TLS 1.0 by default, and TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2 are not enabled.

The TLS protocol is an upgraded version of the SSL protocol and is an updated communication encryption protocol used to establish a secure and encrypted transmission channel between the client and the server. Currently, the lower version of the SSL protocol (including SSL 2.0 and SSL 3.0) has been disabled, while the upgraded version of the TLS protocol is currently in four versions (TLS 1.0, 1.1, 1.2 and the latest TLS 1.3), the old version of TLS 1.0 and 1.1 Vulnerabilities have been proven to be vulnerable, such as POODLE attacks and BEAST attacks.

2. Solution

In order to view FontKe.com normally, your browser must support the TLS 1.2 Secure Transport Protocol.

Step 1: Open the Internet Explorer browser and select Menu Tools > Internet Options.

Step 2: Select the "Advanced" tab in the pop-up Internet Options window;

Step 3: Scroll down to the "Security" section, select Use TLS 1.1 and use TLS 1.2 and click the "Confirm" button.

Step 4: Close the browser and reopen the Internet Explorer browser.

Note: If you can't find the "Use TLS 1.1" and "Use TLS 1.2" options in the "Security" settings item, your operating system or browser does not meet the minimum requirements, please upgrade to the new operating system (for example: Windows 10) Or install Google Chrome, FireFox or 360 browser.

At the front of the email, it says, "Hi, XXX", then XXX is your username. If you wanto reset your passeord, you can click the link below your username and reset your password.

To make sure you input the right username and password.

A. You should distinguish your username from your nickname. Only username can be used to log in.

B. You should not input more than 20 characters.

If you still can not log in, you should find your password back. You can click "Forgot Password" or visit https://eng.fontke.com/user/lostpassword and input your e-mail address and we will send a link to your e-mail so you can click and reset your password.

It could be any combination of numbers, capital letters, small letters and signs within 6-20 characters.

To be safer, you should not use regular password such as 123456, 654321, 666666, 888888, abc123, qwerty, your phone number, your birthday. You should use such as Gklfd_157, aM%89712& etc. And you should change your password regularly and make a copy of it in case of forgotten.

You can find it under your "My FontKe" menu when you log in and you will be requested to input your original password and the new password.

After you log in the account, you can find it under your "Account " menue and click to unbind.
