Fox Sports 1, launched on August 17, 2013, is a 24-hour multi-sports station. Their news show, Fox Sports Live, appears to be taking a more light-hearted and fan-friendly approach. This funny TV spot is more akin to an SNL sketch than to ESPN's brand of inside joke humor.

The typography here is minimal, helping sell the deadpan nature of the spot. Using Stainless Light mostly, the type is distinct and easy to read. The typeface is in keeping with the trend of squarish fonts that sports networks lean on (especially Fox itself), but these settings veer away from the typically aggressive nature of sports typography.

If it was looking too good to be true, well, check out the rogue glyph. The question mark in "Replay of the highlight?" is changed to another font. And in the process an extra space was added. The actual, and very recognizable, Stainless question mark is shown below.

Fox Sport Live itself is using Antenna for a majority of onscreen information, so more on FS1's typography to come.
