In 2005, the Berliner Kammeroper staged Briefe des van Gogh (The Letters of Van Gogh). This mono-opera by the Russian composer Grigory Frid (1915–2012) is based on the letters that Vincent van Gogh wrote to his brother Theo.

Fernkopie designed a poster with an exhilarating chromatic tension, starring the energetic Prensa Bold Italic by Cyrus Highsmith. In other roles: Versa's small caps and Monitor's caps, both from OurType.
