| Description： | "BabelStone Tibetan" is derived under the terms of the SIL Open Font License from "Jomolhari" (jomolhari-alpha003c). Jomolhari is a Bhutanese style calligraphic Tibetan script font developed in Bhutan by Christopher J. Fynn in the hope that it might help the preservation & flourishing of the Buddha Dharma. BabelStone Tibetan includes twelve characters added to the Tibetan block in Unicode versions 5.1 (2008), 5.2 (2009) and 6.0 (2010) which were not present in Jomolhari, as well as Pagoda and Stupa symbols added in Unicode 10.0 (2017) [the stupa symbol was designed by Chris Fynn]. BabelStone Tibetan also includes support for a large number of non-standard stacks used in contractions and for the transcription of Tangut. |
