„Vergessen Sie nicht die Wuchskraft der Bambuswurzeln!" is an upcoming exhibition in Esslingen, Germany. It runs from November 23, 2012, through February 3, 2013.

The Villa Merkel and the Bahnwärterhaus become a platform for current artistic approaches. An expanded discourse on painting is on offer: a group of 27 artists from the Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste Stuttgart – students, graduates and visiting students from Reto Boller's class – are introducing themselves in an international context.

The black-and-white invitation poster measures about 420×320 mm when unfolded. It was designed by Nicolas Zupfer, using a single bold weight ofNeuzeit Grotesk. On the outer side, the exhibition title and the names of the participating artists are shown in various grades of blackness, which are induced by shifted replications of the letters.
