现在我们看到的苹果键盘其采用的字体则都是VAG Rounded，该字体于2003年首先应用在iBook上，到了2007年，苹果各个产品的键盘都已换成VAG Rounded。VAG Rounded原为大众汽车的Logo字体，由一家叫Sedley Place的英国公司在1978年设计而出。不过现在看起来，苹果好像已经计划打对自家的字体更新换代了，这在今日凌晨发布的MacBook和Apple Watch都能找到证据。据悉，苹果在新设备采用了San Francisco的字体。
早前，苹果只表示，San Francisco将专门为Apple Watch打造，但现在看起来并非如此。再加上苹果对统一性的追求，所以未来，用户将很有可能在所有新苹果设备中都看到San Francisco字体。
