微软上周发布了一个高优先级的安全补丁KB2753842，修复OpenType Compact Font Format(CFF) 驱动中的弱点。结果却有许多用户卸载了补丁，因为它导致许多字体停止工作。
设计博客GraphicsUnleashed称，KB2753842导致CorelDRAW和QuarkXpress等程序中使用的所有PostScript Type 1 (PFB) 和所有包含Type 1 的OpenType字体停止工作，受影响的程序还包括Adobe Flash、Serif PagePlus和FlexiSig，甚至是微软自己的产品MS Excel和PowerPoint。
