Civilia. The End Of Sub Urban Man. A Challenge to Semidetsia was originally published by the Architectural Press in 1971, edited by Ivor de Wolfe, pen name ofSculptura, designed by Walter Diethelm and released in 1957 by Haas. It can be described as a combination of two earlier and more popular shaded display faces by the same foundry: the narrow sans-serif letterforms are similar to Graphique (1945) while the contour styling is reminiscient of Profil (1946). Sculptura was digitally revived by Jason Castle in 2005.
