Poppl Heavycould be described as Berthold's response to the ever-popular Cooper Black. It was designed by Friedrich Poppl in 1972, but never was used widely. In 2007, Patrick Griffin saved it from oblivion and released a digital revival named Gator. The brush script is Martin Wilke'sPalette, another typeface from the Berthold library.
