Lane was a prominent producer of modern American furniture in the 1940s–70s. (They have since regressed toBaskerville Old Facecould be used in a youthful way. It was the typeface of at least one other maker of modern furnishings, Habitat.

It's possible that the Baskerville used here was known by some other name, such as Fry's Baskerville.
