The Phoenix Comic by Matt Baxter of Baxter and Bailey is "a 32 page full colour comic full of 100% original stories, and incredible competitions", and supposedly "the best way to get kids reading" — thephoenixcomic.co.uk

The buoyant bold typeface is Derbyshire, the most restrained member of Jeremy Tankard'sShire Typesseries. An interspersed 'X' from the animated Warwickshire has been used to round off the logo. The website was built by Mesh London and uses two weights of ITC Avant Garde Gothic.
